hello every body. if you ever find error like this … “could not execute dpkg! dpkg bla bla bla return 100()”

it’s mean, you was deleted dpkg directory… if you not deleted … it’s mean your owner dpkg directory its not root owner.. yeahhhh.. its simple, but im so confused before solved this problem.. haha lol
this is way how to re install dpkg if you deleted 😛

to the point bung..

1. ~]# mkdir /tmp/dpkg
2. ~]# cd /tmp/dpkg
here for 32bit
3. ~]# wget http://kambing.ui.ac.id/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dpkg/dpkg_1.16.0~ubuntu5_i386.deb
here for 64bit
3.~]# wget http://kambing.ui.ac.id/ubuntu/pool/main/d/dpkg/dselect_1.13.11ubuntu6_amd64.deb
after download it.. change extension deb to tar.gz
4.~]# ar x dpkg*.deb data.tar.gz
then extract to dpkg directory
5.~]# tar xfvz data.tar.gz ./usr/bin/dpkg
then Copy the binary to /usr/bin:
6.~]# sudo cp ./usr/bin/dpkg /usr/bin/
Now try to re installin that .,,
7.~]# sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --reinstall dpkg
